720 Dunk Basketball : Dunking skills take Fontenette from Hitchcock to All-Star stage

Taurian Fontenette sat in the stands at Delmar Fieldhouse on a Saturday in December to check out the Yates boys basketball team he had heard so much about.
In the first quarter, senior guard Brandon Peters dunked on back-to-back alley-oop passes, and the crowd went wild. Fontenette had to grin, because he was doing the same thing at Hitchcock High School a decade ago.
Now, Fontenette will show off his dunking skills on a big stage at 8 p.m. today during the NBA All-Star Jam Session at the Sprite Slam Dunk Showdown at the Dallas Convention Center.
