New Orleans, long know for the wildest party come Mardi Gras has a new distinction: throwing the best Post-Super Bowl victory party. From all accounts the City of New Orleans put on quite a Super Bowl parade, one that could made Indianapolis’ fans and former championship cities very jealous.
200,000 plus were expected to be there. Some are speculating it’s the largest parade in U.S. history. We’ll have to check that.
Nola.com reports fans lined up 15 people deep as floats with Saints players passed through New Orleans’ business district. 1.8 million strands of beads were ordered for the celebration Tuesday. And Saints head coach Sean Payton even was caught dancing to the Ying Yang Twins.
