The UFC 107 weigh-ins from the Fedex Center in Memphis, Tennessee took place today with lightweight champion BJ ‘The Prodigy’ Penn making weight at 155 pounds.
(Media-Newswire.com) – The UFC 107 weigh-ins from the Fedex Center in Memphis, Tennessee took place today with lightweight champion BJ ‘The Prodigy’ Penn making weight at 155 pounds.
One issue came up with the weight of the fighter Wilson Gouveia who was not able to make the 185 lb weight limit. Gouveia asked for the bout to be change to a catchweight with his opponent Alan Belcher. At first, the weight was going to be raised to 190 but Belcher suggested that it be raised to 195.
Several other fighters came in above the weight limit and had to make second attempts. Two fighters were Johnny Hendricks and Ricardo Funch who will actually be fighting each other.
